Springing into Action and Unity
The Barat Foundation and Newark Interfaith Coalition for Hope and Peace have joined forces to give voice to Newark youth, and empower them to become engaged learners and active participants in their community, through a grassroots campaign that will present The Coalition’s two positive messages:
■ Support and Protect our Children
■ Our Community, Our Responsibility
with essays and murals painted throughout the city of Newark and
targeted suburbs.
The program will culminate in an inspirational film to be shown in schools, community organizations and houses of worship that will reinforce the power of the messages.
